If a password can’t be saved

Safari can store the user names and passwords you enter on webpages, and fill them in automatically for you.

If AutoFill isn’t working:

You may have AutoFill turned off for user names and passwords. To turn it on, choose Safari > Preferences, and then click the AutoFill tab. For more information about the AutoFill options, click the Help (question mark) button.

If you clicked “Never for this Website” the last time you logged in to this webpage, remove the “never saved” designation by deleting the information Safari stored for this password.

Some websites don’t allow password saving. If you’re not sure, contact the website’s administrator.
