Saving webpages

You can save an entire webpage or just text and images from it.

Here are ways to save webpages:

To save a bit of text, highlight it and drag it to a document or to the desktop. You can also copy and paste it.

To save an image, link, or other item, drag it to a document or to the desktop. This works for most items you find on webpages.

To save an entire webpage, choose File > Save As; then choose either Web Archive or Page Source from the Format pop-up menu.

Web Archive: All the graphics are saved and links continue to work as long as the destination webpages are available. Web archives are especially useful for pages that might not be on the web for long, such as receipts.

Page Source: Only the HTML source code is saved. This is useful if you want to use the HTML source in a webpage of your own.

Some webpages may prevent you from saving items on the page.
