Selecting your home page

Your home page is the page that usually opens when you open Safari, open a new window, click the House button, or choose History > Home.

To choose a home page:

Step 1

Open the webpage you want to use as your home page.

Step 2

Choose Safari > Preferences, and then click General.

Step 3

Click “Set to Current Page.”

You can also type the address for the page you want to use in the “Home page” box.

Step 4

If you want new windows to open with the home page, choose Home Page from the “New windows open with” pop-up menu.

If you change the home page setting in Safari, the home page settings used by other web browsers on your computer may also change.
